Irish close out 2014 season with upset win over LSU in Music City Bowl
The hot and cold Notre Dame fighting Irish save their best for last as they pulled off a 31-28 win over the #22 LSU Tigers in the Music City Bowl in Tennesse. Senior kicker Kyle Brindza nailed a 32-yard field goal as time ran out and the Irish closed out 2014 at 8-5
Quarterback Malik Zaire used his arm and legs to lead the Irish to victory, He passed for 96 yards and a TD and also ran 96 yards for another score.
Notre Dame amassed 449 yards to LSU's 436.
